Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Device-only learning session: a user ID, display name, selected avatar, learning progress, and study history.
• Optional saved account: an email address and authentication-provider identifiers when you choose email or Sign in with Apple.
• Diagnostics: app platform, current screen, failed request details, and error information used to keep the service reliable. Authentication tokens, passwords, and similar sensitive values are redacted.
• Website analytics: Umami records page views and a small number of key button clicks. This helps us understand which pages and app links are useful. We do not send your account, email, or app user ID with these events.

2. How we use information

We use this information to deliver lessons and audio, save and restore progress, secure accounts, respond to support requests, diagnose errors, and improve service reliability. Providing an email address or using Sign in with Apple is optional.

3. Service providers

We use Supabase for authentication and data infrastructure, and Umami for website analytics. Umami's standard tracker does not use cookies and reports anonymized site usage, such as page views, referrers, device information, and approximate location. Service providers process information only to provide services to us and must protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law.

4. No advertising or cross-app tracking

MandaPanda does not display third-party advertising, sell personal information, or track activity across other companies' apps and websites.

5. Account deletion and data retention

You can permanently delete a saved MandaPanda account in the app: open your profile, choose Settings, then select Delete Account and confirm.

If you cannot access the app, email hello@shadowsg.com with the subject Account Deletion Request, using the email address associated with the account. We will delete your account, profile, learning progress, study history, and related diagnostic records.

We process deletion requests within 30 days. Limited records may be retained only when required by law or to protect the service from fraud and abuse.

6. Children

MandaPanda is a general-audience language-learning app and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.
